ach. this is a silly blog. i'll be telling you what i had to eat next.
lentil and bacon soup. it was made by baxters and was 79p from iceland. the frozen food retailer, not the place. i'd like to visit iceland the country actually. i've only ever passed through the airport on the way to america. my memory was of being fascinated by the bottles of vodka for sale, reading a bob hope book and watching gorgeous people smoking fancy cigarettes. i hope my music can take me to a few interesting places this year.
the best soup i ever had was in malaysia and it was oxtail. it was actually a british-themed restaurant shaped like a train carriage. tacky but delicious.

for the price of a tin of soup you can buy my new(ish) single 'could have been a contender' or the b-side 'dislocation' on one of the many download sites out there.
